Allene Beck Carroll

Allene Beck Carroll, 82, of Cleveland, passed away Wednesday, July 4, 2018.  Allene was an amazing wife, mother and Nana.  She loved her family and friends unconditionally, especially her grandchildren who were the lights of her life.  Her greatest joy was to be able to vacation with them over their summer break on journeys across the country.  A devoted nurse for over 40 years at Bradley Memorial Hospital emergency room, Bowater, and Trewhitt Jr. High where she treated each of her patients as she would her own family with compassion and respect.  She will be forever loved and missed by our entire family and her friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, A.J. & Rose Beck, and brother Lloyd Beck.

She is survived by her devoted husband of 65 years, Willard Carroll; sons, Tony and Darlene Carroll, Dennis and Karen Carroll; grandchildren, Brittany and Josh Mowery, Jonathan and Holly Carroll, Heather and Travis Henderson (Cartersville, GA), Heath and Megan Carroll (Cartersville, GA); great grandchildren, Andrew and Cooper Carroll, Jenna and Beckham Mowery, Micah & Maddox Henderson; siblings, Wilma West, Jack and Nancy Beck (Chicago, IL), Alvin and Clara Beck, Faye and Tony Bombacino; several nieces and nephews; special daughter, Janice Rogers; and special sons, Charles Queener, Danny Wooden, Chuck Clark, and Tim Kuhns.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, July 6, 2018 in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Pastor Ray Cheatham officiating.   Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens with Brittany Mowery, Jonathan Carroll, Heather Henderson, Heath Carroll, Josh Mowery, and Travis Henderson serving as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 to 1:00 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home prior to the service.

The family would like to express their gratitude to Hospice of Chattanooga and to Bradley Healthcare for the care and comfort provided.
