Edna E. DeLong

Edna E. DeLong, 97, of Cleveland, passed away Monday, July 23, 2018 in local healthcare facility.  She was a member of Cohutta Seventh-Day Adventist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Willis Earl DeLong; parents, William and Virginia Kelley Bagby and siblings, Alice Bodle, Ryland Bagby, William Bagby, May Key and Robert Bagby.

She is survived by her seven children, Richard DeLong (Janice) of Burleson, TX, Donna Jean Brewer (Edward) of Mauganville, MD, Earleen Peets of McDonald, Robert DeLong (Sheila) of Salt Lake City, UT, Douglas DeLong (Eugenia) of Cleveland, Norman DeLong (Darlene) of Cleveland and Kelly Warren of Sylva, NC; eleven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and fifty-six foster children; several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 28, 2018 in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home.  Private inurnment will be in Hilcrest Memorial Gardens on Monday.

The family will receive friends from 3:00 – 4:00 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home prior to the service.
