Sonya Annette Richmond

Sonya Annette Richmond, 62,  passed away Tuesday, July 31, 2018 in a Nashville hospital.  She was a member of Parkway Baptist Church and loved her pet dog and cats.  She worked as a registered nurse at Bradley Memorial Hospital for twenty-five years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas S. and Frances Shipley Casteel.

She is survived by her sisters, Angela Payne and husband, Nathan of Cleveland and Deborah Hefner of Nashville; nephews, Dakota Wells, Ashley Hefner and Colin Hefner; great-niece and great-nephew, Kaedyn Cobb and Keeli Cobb.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 4, 2018 in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home.  Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens with Nathan Payne, Dakota Wells, Colin Hefner, Ashley Hefner, Matthew Wilkerson and Jamie Payne serving as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home prior to the service.
