Pauline Carroll Johnson

Frances Pauline Carroll Johnson, 84, of Cleveland, passed away Wednesday, October 3, 2018 at a Chattanooga hospital.  She graduated from Charleston High School in 1954 and after that she graduated with her RN degree from the Erlanger School of Nursing.  Pauline was a registered nurse in the area and retired after 50 plus years of service.  She was saved and baptized at First Baptist of Cleveland. She was preceded in death by her parents, William Dewey Carroll and Froney Allie Davis and siblings, Eloise Carroll, Willie Mae Aaron, Lois Ann Gibson and Harold Gibson. Survivors include her son, Gary Edward Johnson; siblings, Eunavee Vollmar, Willard Carroll, Wildon Carroll and wife, Marie, Kenneth Gibson and wife, Marcia, James Randall Gibson and wife, Grace, Joyce Cardwell, Marilyn Gail Pippin; and several nieces and nephews. The funeral will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 6, 2018 in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Pastor Ray Cheathem officiating.  Interment will follow in Michigan Avenue Baptist Church Cemetery. Her family will receive friends from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home prior to the service.
