Kenneth Edward Blankenship, 60, of Cleveland, passed away Saturday, October 6, 2018 in a Chattanooga healthcare facility. He was a member of the Miracle Deliverance Tabernacle in Riceville. He loved woodworking and was a self taught furniture builder. He was a lifelong resident of South East Tennessee.
He was preceded in death by his father Charles William Blankenship and sister Kelly Webb.
Survivors include his wife Tammy Sue Prock Blankenship; mother Kathleen Ash Blankenship; children Charles Edward Blankenship and Lindsey Nicole Pack both of Cleveland; sisters Donna Gibson of Benton and Sherrie (Ken) Harris of Sweetwater; in-laws Jordan and Wanda Prock of Linsdale; and mother in law Linda Cross of Ocoee. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
The funeral will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 9, 2018 in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Reverend Anthony Wynn and Reverend Raul Cross officiating. Stephan Phillips, Jeremy Phillips, Joey Phillips, Timothy Byers, Chris Byers, and Brandon Burger will serve as pallbearers. Interment will follow on Wednesday October 10 at 1:00 p.m.in Baptist Graveyard in Tellico Plains.
His family will receive friends from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home prior to the service.
