Jean Carolyn Williams

Jean Carolyn Cockrell Williams, age 72, of Cleveland, passed away Thursday, October 11, 2018 at her residence.  She was born in Athens, TN, and had been a resident of Cleveland since 1990.  Jean was a fantastic dancer and an amazing cook.  She was a loving wife and mother who enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.


She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles Cockrell and Stacy Murray Cockrell; and brother, Buck Cockrell.


She is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Harry James (Chip) Williams; children, Shanda Williams of Florence, SC, Krista Williams of Knoxville, TN, and Dae Williams of Oxford, MS; sister, JoAnn Davidson of Nashville, TN; and several nieces and nephews also survive.


A private family service will be held at a later date.
