Allen Scott Raines

Allen "Alfie" Scott Raines, 51, of Cleveland passed away unexpectedly in Dothan, Alabama on Thursday November 15, 2018.  He was a native and lifelong resident of Bradley County.   He loved being around people and was the life of the party.  His life revolved round his family, especially his wife, Denise. Alfie always taught self sacrifice, loyalty, and the importance of family.  He lived his life by this motto.  He was the owner of Raines Property Services. Alfie was of the Christian faith.

He was preceded in death by his parents Onnie and Cora Howard Raines; and brother Richard Bolton.

He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 33 years Denise Dodson Raines; children Brandon and Brittany Raines, Ashton Raines and his fiancé Sara Sloan, and Ryan Onnie Raines all of Cleveland; grandchildren Mason, Rylan, and Trinity Raines; brothers Andy (Martha) Bolton of Ocoee, Tim (Treva) Bolton of Old Fort, Nicky (Christie) Raines, and Shonce (Kathy) Raines of Cleveland; several nieces, nephews, and other extended family and numerous lifelong friends also survive.

The funeral service will be Tuesday November 20, 2018 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home and Crematory with Pastor Arnold Shnell officiating.  An Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.  A playing of bagpipes and dove release ceremony will conclude the service.

The family will receive friends Monday, November 19, 2018 from 5:00- 8:00 PM at the funeral home
