Willie Marie Underwood

Willie Marie Underwood, 89, of Cleveland passed away in a local healthcare facility, Wednesday, November 21, 2018.  She had a passion for flowers and gardening.  She was of the Christian faith.       

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Underwood; and her parents, Sullivan Haire and Elsie Smith Haire; brothers, John and Cecil Haire; and sister, Edna Ogle.            

She is survived by her children, Brenda (George) Norwood of Cleveland and Geraldine Lewis of Cleveland; grandsons, Mitchell Norwood, Scott Norwood, Greg Harness; granddaughter, Kim Waters; great grandchildren Hunter Norwood, Kody Norwood, and Tyler Waters; and great-great grandchild Everlee Waters.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, November 26, 2018 at Sunset Memorial Gardens with Scott Norwood, Mitchell Norwood, Hunter Norwood, Kody Norwood, Tyler Waters, and Greg Harness serving as pallbearers.  A dove release ceremony will conclude the service.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. Sunday, November 25, 2018 at the funeral home.
