Helen L. Thompson

Helen L. Thompson, 93, of Ooltewah, passed away Thursday, November 22, 2018 in a local healthcare facility.  She was a great homemaker, loving mother, and grandmother.  She enjoyed crocheting and was a very accomplished pianist and organist.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Reese Thompson; parents, M.M. Butts and Elsie Butts; and one grandson.

She is survived by her three daughters, Karen Parker of Ooltewah, Sandra Sparry and husband Roger of Palm Coast, FL, and Donna Mahfuz and husband Earl of Trenton, GA; three grandchildren; and several great grand children.

Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, November 28, 2018, at the Chattanooga National Cemetery.
