Chitra Parekh
April 13, 1955 — December 17, 2018
Chitra Parekh, 63, of Athens, passed away Monday, December 17, 2018, at a local healthcare facility. She was of the Hindu faith.
She was preceded in death by her parents James and Ruth Nereine.
She is survived by her husband Rajesh Parekh of Athens; children Neil Parekh and Nikki Parekh of Athens; sisters Dolice Mahadeo of New Jersey and Mina Rivis of New Jersey; Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 20, 2018 in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at the funeral home.
