Pat Eleanor Elliott

Pat Eleanor Elliott, 87, of Cleveland passed away on Monday, January 7, 2019 in a Chattanooga healthcare facility. She was a member of The Church of God at Zion Hill.  Her last job was as a reading grandmother to students at Oak Grove Elementary School.  She moved all over Tennessee pastoring churches with her husband.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Bishop Dennis Wayne Elliott; parents, Jody and Mona Goodwin; and brother, Eddie Goodwin.

She leaves behind four loving children, a son, Barry Elliott, three daughters, Dena Calfee, Jean & (Derk) Shields, and Joy Ingle, all of Cleveland; five grandchildren, Ashley Ingle, Jody Elliott, Kera House, Lisa Clements, and LeAnne Henry; 15 great-grandchildren; one sister, Evelyn Smith of Charleston; one brother, Bruce Goodwin of Chattanooga, and several nieces & nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be at 3:00 p.m. Sunday January 13, 2019 in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home and Crematory with the Rev. Harvey Anders officiating.  Interment will follow in Hilcrest Memorial Gardens with Dennis Henry, Jody Elliott, Ronnie Smith, Zach Tinsley, Jay Tinsley and Gerry Clements serving as pallbearers.  A white dove release ceremony and the playing of bagpipes will conclude the service.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Sunday prior to the service.
