James Allen Cole

James Allen Cole, 72, of Cleveland passed away Friday, January 25, 2019 at his home.  He was a veteran of the United States Navy and served during the Vietnam War.  James was a retired truck driver and enjoyed radio controlled model airplanes and hot rods. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Margaret Teeter Cole; two brothers; and two sisters.

Survivors include his wife, Diana Nadine Watts Cole of Cleveland; six children:  Edward Coffelt of Chattanooga, Peggy McCoy of Carson City, NV, John Pearon of Richmond, VA, Jennie Prather of Cleveland, Timothy Pearon of Jasper, TN and Angelia Askins of Chattanooga; 14 grandchildren; two brothers, Pete Cole of California and William “Hoot” Cole of Pennsylvania; and several nieces and nephews.

 
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 29, 2019 in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home.
