Katherine “Kathy” Cunnyngham Hammontree, 72, of Cleveland passed away Tuesday, February 19, 2019 in her home surrounded by her loving family. She retired from Maytag as an industrial engineer.
She was preceded in deathy by her parents, Addison Blair Cunnyngham and Mary Frances McKenzie Cunnyngham; and husband, Joe Hammontree.
Survivors include her life partner, Ed McCord; sister, Suzanne Allen; daughters, Julie Brown of Orlando, FL and Camille McGill and husband, David Calfee of Cleveland; grandchildren, Kyle Cronan and his fiancé, Jami Bettis, Lillie Brown and Clayton McGill; great grandchildren, Presley Cronan and Axios Bettis; niece, Lee Anne Carmack and her family; and her close knit circle of friends (you know who you are).
A celebration of her life will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 30, 2019, at the Old Woolen Mill, 445 Church Street SE, Cleveland, Tennessee.
