Tony Lamarr Sizemore, 75, of Ten Mile, TN, passed away Friday, April 5, 2019 in a Chattanooga hospital. He had lived in the area most of his life, and he was of the Church of Christ faith. He was an outdoorsman who loved hunting, fishing, and boating. He retired from the Oak Ridge National Laboratory in 2014. He also worked at C.F. Industries in Chattanooga from 1965-1982.
He was preceded in death by his father, A. G. Sizemore; mother, Betty McCormack Johnson; step-father, R. A. Johnson; and brother, Terry Sizemore.
He is survived seven children, Lynn Collins (David) of Cleveland, LeeAnne Montgomery (Tony) of Ooltewah, TN, Trey Sizemore (Saliena) of Calhoun, TN, Ginger Sizemore of Cleveland, Joshua Mooney (Tara) of Knoxville, TN, Matthew Smith of Chattanooga, and Justin Granter of Peoria, IL; nine grandchildren, Brittany Evans, Joshua Evans, Eden Haire, Stevan Haire, Michael Spicer, Amanda Culbertson, Harper Moony, Hartley Smith, and Makyn Smith; two great grandchildren, Raloe Evans and Aunna Culbertson; and several nieces and nephews also survive.
A celebration of his life will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Thursday, April 11, 2019 in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home and Crematory. Interment will follow at Tennessee-Georgia Memorial Park Cemetery in Rossville, GA, with David Collins, Michael Spicer, Tony Montgomery, John Greely, and Stevan Haire serving as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends beginning from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 10, 2019 at the funeral home.
