Fannie Isabelle Eaves, 81, of Calhoun, passed away Wednesday, April 17, 2019 in a local health care facility. She was a member of the Calhoun Baptist Church. Fannie was an avid NASCAR fan and loved races at the Cleveland Speedway where she watched her son, Steve race for over 26 years. She also enjoyed road trips to see him race. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph W. Thomas and Gussey N. Williams Thomas; sisters, Kathleen Green and Irene Byous; and brother, Bill Thomas. Survivors include her husband, Felmet Leonard Eaves, Jr.; two children, Steve (Kathy) Liner and Christina Eaves; granddaughter, Isabella (Dylan) Koons; four great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 18, 2019 at Calhoun Community Cemetery with the Reverend Jay McCluskey officiating.
