Donald William Vaught

Donald William Vaught, 60, of Cleveland, passed away Thursday, April 25, 2019 at his home. He was a youth pastor at Faith Memorial Church, he sang in the praise and worship team and operated the sound and video equipment for 16 years. He was a musician, a writer and he enjoyed playing computer games. He was passionate about his music and loved to study the Bible. He will always be remembered as a loving husband, father and grandfather.

Survivors include his beloved wife of 42 years, Robin Diane Elrod Vaught; children, Dona Leonard and husband Michael of Cleveland, Dustin Vaught and wife Sheryle of Vero Beach, Florida and Brittany Vaught of Cleveland; grandchildren, Blake Dilbeck of Benton and Sara Leonard of Cleveland; sister, Connie Bailey and husband Kevin of Knoxville; brother, Joe E. Bryant of Madisonville, and many loving friends.

Funeral services will be at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 28, 2019 at Faith Memorial Church, 910 17th Street, Cleveland, Tennessee 37311 with Pastor Allen Lindon, Pastor David Riggs and Pastor Mark Strickland officiating. Interment will follow at Hilcrest Memorial Gardens with Blake Dilbeck, Michael Leonard, Aaron Vaught, Kevin Bailey, Mike Bailey and Michael McCabe serving as pallbearers, and Earl Moats serving as an honorary pallbearer. A dove release and the playing of bagpipes will conclude the service.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. at the church prior to the funeral services.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
