Clinton Newell

 Clinton “Von” Newell, 76, of Cleveland, passed away Wednesday, May 8, 2019, in a local healthcare facility.  He was born in Chattanooga, TN on August 28, 1942 and retired from Mayfield Dairy. He enjoyed traveling. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Essie Newell

Survivors include his wife Edna Dean Wolfe Newell; step-son Herbert Wenck; grandson Liam Wenck; brother David Newell and sister in law Linda Newell. 

A celebration of his life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, May 13, 2019 in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with the Pastor James Vaughn officiating.   The interment will follow in Fairview Baptist Church Cemetery, 6807 Snow Hill Road, Ooltewah, TN.  A white dove release ceremony and the playing of bagpipes will conclude the service at the cemetery.

His family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home prior to the service.
