Dorothy Rosetia Bridwell Bunch Beaty

July 19, 1931 — June 3, 2019

Dorothy Rosetia Bridwell Bunch Beaty, 87, a resident of Georgetown, passed away Monday, June 3, 2019 at her residence.  She was a member of Georgetown Baptist Church.  She enjoyed gardening, farming, quilting and traveling with the Seniors Group and cooking delicious meals for her family and friends.  Her travels took her to Nova Scotia, Niagara Falls, west to the Grand Canyon, Hoover Dam, Tombstone and she enjoyed the Florida beaches. 

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Jesse W. Bunch and second husband, Robert W. Beaty; parents, Willie Mae Pritchett Bridwell and Sam Bridwell, Sr.; siblings and half siblings, Sam Breedwell, Jr, Mart Bridwell, Barney Bredwell, John Bredwell, Clint Bredwell, Viola Wilson and Bonnie Hall; daughter, Joyce Coleman; son-in-law, Frizzell Coleman; daughter-in-law, Janet Bunch and step-granddaughter, Robin Hicks. 

She is survived by her children, Carolyn Graham (Vernon) of Georgetown, Doug Bunch of Georgetown and Becky Proffitt (Loy) of Cleveland; step-children, Snooks Beaty (Marjorie) Section, AL and Sue Caywood (Terry) of Georgetown; grandchildren, Patty Swafford (Brian), Sandra Matthews (Clay), Kevin Graham (Krista), Shane Coleman (Becky), Felicia McAlister (Jeremy), Wendy Barick (Kryss), Jennifer Evett (Chad), Tiffany Bunch, Ben Bunch, Amy Tinsley (Mark), Andy Proffitt, Ryan Beaty (Kristi), Ginger Moses (John), Carrie Trew (Robby) and Criss Caywood; twenty-three great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson. 

The funeral will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 6, 2019 in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Kryss and Wendy Barick officiating.  Interment will follow in Lee Cemetery with Mark Tinsley, Brian Swafford, Jeremy McAlister, Ben Bunch, Kevin Graham and Andy Proffitt serving as pallbearers.  A white dove release ceremony and the playing of bagpipes will conclude the service. 

The family will receive friends from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 5, 2019 at the funeral home.
