Lorene Lott, 86, of Cleveland, passed away Wednesday, July 3, 2019, in a local hospital. She was a member of First United Pentecostal Church on Peerless Road. Lorene retired from Life Care Centers as a CNA. She loved flowers, cooking and spending time with her family and sewing.
She was preceded in death by her husband Johnny Lott; parents, James and Nellie Bennett; sister, Alice Biggs; daughter, Jannie L. Mosely; granddaughter, Angela Jacobs and sister-in-law, Gladys Hurst.
She is survived by her children, John Timothy Lott of Cleveland and Brenda K. Kendrick of Cleveland; grandchildren, Saliena Sizemore (Trey) of Calhoun, Rhonda Bandy of Cleveland, Norman Jacobs (Angie) of Sweetwater; great-grandchildren, Amanda Culbertson, Michael Spicer, Zackary Thornhill, Angelina Thornhill, Wyatt Bandy, Chandler Christenson and Nathan Jacobs; great-great grandchild, Aunna Grace Culbertson; brother, Donald W. Biggs and several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of her life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 6, 2019 at First United Pentecostal Church with the Reverend William Robinson officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens with Michael Spicer, Norman Jacobs, Nathan Jacobs, Trey Sizemore, Mark Spangler and Daniel Ledford serving as pallbearers. A white dove release ceremony and the playing of bagpipes will conclude the service.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Friday, July 5, 2019 at Ralph Buckner Funeral Home.
