Ollie "Tressie" Moore

Ollie “Tressie” Morgan Moore, 83, a resident of Old Fort, passed away Tuesday, July 16, 2019, at local a hospital.  She was of Baptist faith.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Johnny Moore; parents, Earnest and Mattie Morgan; son, Johnny Ray Moore and siblings, Bessie Sherrill, Mary Ruth Kibble, Claude Morgan and Ernest Morgan.

She is survived by her children, Connie Shields and Darrell Moore, both of Old Fort; two grandchildren, Jessica Erin Moore and Zachary Ray Moore; three great grandchildren, Ethan Thomas, Ryleigh Jade and Amaya Jewell Moore; two sisters, Betty Jo Pack of Cleveland and Mildred Branam of Ringgold, GA; daughter-in-law, Kimberly Moore and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 22, 2019 in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with the Reverend David Disney officiating.  Interment will follow in Boanerges Cemetery with a white dove release ceremony and the playing of bagpipes concluding the service.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 – 4:00 on Tuesday at the funeral home prior to the service.
