Evelyn Green Choate
October 26, 1930 — August 17, 2019
Evelyn Green Choate, 88, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Saturday morning August 17, 2019 at Signature Healthcare. She was of the Methodist faith.
She was preceded in death by her husband William “Doc” Choate; sons Steven Choate and Edward Choate; sister Betty Parker; and parents Juanita and Earl Green Sr.
Survivors include her grandchildren Jarrett (Michelle) Choate of Calhoun and Mark Choate; sister Phyllis Waters of Cleveland; brother and sister in law Earl “Sonny” and Joyce Green; special niece Melissa Colburn; and several extended family members also survive.
Graveside services will be held Tuesday, August 20, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. in Hilcrest Memorial Gardens with Brother Steve Gilbert officiating.
Her family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Ralph Buckner Funeral Home.
