Ronald Eugene Lankford

Ronald Eugene Lankford, 73, of Cleveland, passed away August 23, 2019 in a local health care facility.  He was a member of Ridgeview Baptist Church.  He loved shooting. He was a pipefitter for many years with Alstom. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie Lake Lankford and Hazel Ines Cox Lankford.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Rita Sue Horn Lankford of Cleveland; daughter Joy Michelle Lankford and husband Bruce of Cleveland; sister Wanda Cone of Old Fort; niece and nephew Amy Clements and Clay Cone.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, August 26, 2019 in Hilcrest Memorial Gardens with a white dove release ceremony and the playing of bagpipes.

His family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. on Monday at Ralph Buckner Funeral Home prior to the graveside service.
