Frank Martin Monka, Jr.

Frank Martin Monka, Jr., 78, of Cleveland, passed away on September 14, 2019 in a Chattanooga hospital.  He was of Christian faith and he enjoyed golfing, bowling and gardening. Frank was a retired veteran of the United States Marine Corps.  

He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Mary Monka and siblings, Cyrus Monka, David Monka, Beatrice Roman and Joseph Monka

He is survived by his wife of 21 years; Sharon Monka of Cleveland; sons, Frank Monka, III, Timothy Allen Monka and Joseph Scott Monka, all of Cleveland; daughters, Cindy Cameron (Earl), of Cleveland and Kathy Cash (Troy), of Acworth, GA; grandchildren, Wyatt Monka, Dylan Cash, Austin Cash, Emily Locke, Evan Locke and David Cameron; great niece, Mary Orr Woodward and several nieces and nephews also survive.

Memorial services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 21, 2019 in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with the Reverend Gary Thacker officiating.  A private inurnment will be held on Monday, September 23, 2019 in the Chattanooga National Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 – 1:00 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home prior to the service.
