Mary Ruth Cardin

  Mary Ruth Martin Cardin, age 81 of Englewood, passed away on Tuesday, October 30, 2018 at the University of Tennessee Medical Center. Born on August 6, 1937, she was a native and lifelong resident of McMinn County.

Mary Ruth was preceded in death by her parents, Willard and Kate Green Martin; her husband, Bruce Cardin and her son-in-law, Ruel Wilson

Survivors include her daughters, Karen Wilson of Englewood and Tanya (Jim) McElhaney of Madisonville; grandchildren, Bruce(Niki) Grinter of Englewood, Tyler “Joe” McElhaney of Hong Kong, China, and Trevor (Liz) McElhaney of Knoxville; great-grandchildren, Sophie and Hadley Grinter; and several nieces, nephews, and other extended family also survive.

A Graveside service will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, November 2, 2018 at Sunrise Cemetery

There will be no formal visitation at the funeral home.
