Elizabeth Arrowood

Elizabeth Zimmerman Arrowood, age 71, resident of Cleveland, TN, passed away Wednesday, July 8, 2009, in a Chattanooga healthcare center. She was a member of the Asbury United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul W. Zimmerman and Maude P. Zimmerman; brothers, James William (Bill) Zimmerman, Bruce Zimmerman and Max Zimmerman.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Harry Arrowood, Cleveland, TN; sisters, Kathryn Zimmerman Hawkins, Frankie Z. Wells, Beatrice Zimmerman, Betty Jean Dietz, Edith Garrett and brothers, Phillip Pete Zimmerman and Hoyt B. Zimmerman. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 11, 2009, at 3:00 p.m. at Grissom Funeral Home with Rev. Tim Paul and Rev. Fred Lundsford officiating. Interment will follow in Hilcrest Memorial Gardens with nephews, Jim Zimmerman, Robert Zimmerman, Paul Wells, Perry Dietz, Randy Zimmerman, Tim Ingram, Matthew Zimmerman and Jonathan P. Henderson serving as pallbearers. Grand Nephews will serve as honorary pallbearers.

The family will receive friends Friday, July 10, 2009, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Grissom Funeral Home who has charge of funeral arrangements. Online condolences may be sent to www.grissomfh.net
