Herman Franklin Chastain

Herman Franklin Chastain, age 86, resident of McDonald, TN, passed away Saturday, April 17, 2010, in a Chattanooga hospital. He was retired from Burlington Industries. He was a member of Pine Hill Cumberland Presbyterian Church. He was also a farmer. He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Laura Miller Chastain, 4 brothers and 4 sisters.

He is survived by numerous nieces and nephews and a host of friends. One special friend, Jeff Alger, Ooltewah, TN.

The funeral service will be held Tuesday, April 20, 2010, at 6:00 p.m. at Grissom Funeral Home with Rev. Russ Maroon and Rev. Steve Gilbert officiating. Interment will be held Wednesday, April 21, 2010, at 11:00 a.m. at Lee Cemetery in McDonald, TN.

Memorials may be made to the Pine Hill Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
