Myrtle K. Cox, age 69, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Saturday, October 9, 2010 at her home. She was preceded in death by her husband, William D. Cox, Sr.; son, William D. Cox, Jr.; parents, Dewey A. Ledford and Texie Mae Cheek; brothers, A. B., Carboett, Clyde, George, Charles, Jhonnie, and Willie Ledford; sisters, Lula, Lillie, Emmerlean and Geraldine.
Survivors include one daughter, Martha Cox; one son, Anthony Cox; three grandchildren; two sisters, and two brothers.
A graveside service will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Boanerges Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Jack Thoemke officiating.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 12 noon " 1 p.m. at Grissom Funeral Home prior to leaving in procession for the cemetery.
