Joe W. Guest

Joe W. Guest, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Monday, October 25, 2010 in a Chattanooga healthcare facility. Joe was a former math professor at Cleveland State Community College. He was a member of Southeast Church of Christ. He loved to dance.

Joe was preceded in death by his parents, Eugene H. Guest and Minnie Ford Guest; his first wife, Mary Joyce Guest; son, Joe Guest, Jr.; and infant daughter, Mary Melinda Guest.

Survivors include his wife Mary Ann Guest of Cleveland; son, Michael Guest of Cleveland; sister, Jewell Marie Evans, of Madison, MS; grandson, Joey Guest of Martin, TN; great grandson, Bo Guest; three stepdaughters, Deaver Jones of Reliance, TN, Lavan Matthews, of Niota, TN, and Mary Jane Gatlin of Cleveland; and one stepson, Winfred Campbell of Benton, TN.

Funeral Services will be held Tuesday at 7 p.m. at Grissom Funeral Home with Rev. Sammy Hooker and Minister David Webb officiating. Interment will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Chattanooga National Cemetery.
