Albert Joseph Koob

Albert Joseph Koob, age 80, resident of Cleveland, TN, passed away Wednesday morning, December 12, 2007, in a Chattanooga hospital. He attended St. Therese Catholic Church. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and served in the Korean War. He was a member of the AMVETS and the VFW. Mr. Koob was a retired printer in Sacramento, California. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank Koob and Mary OBoyle and 1 brother and 2 sisters.

He is survived by his wife, Dolores K. Koob, Cleveland, TN; two sons, Raymond Koob, San Jose, CA and Daniel and wife, Kim, Koob, Calhoun, TN; two daughters, Allison Griffith, Reno, Nevada and Karen Keith, Roseville, CA. 17 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren also survive. One brother, Frank Koob, Philadelphia, PA. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Graveside services will be held Sunday, December 16, 2007, at 2:00 p.m. at Ft. Hill Cemetery with Father P. J. McGinnity officiating. Services will conclude with full military honors.
