Loy Lester Parlier, Jr., 61, of McDonald, passed away on Wednesday, January 20, 2010 at a local hospital.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Loy and Sarah Creasman Parlier; and sister, Sandra Winkler.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy Parlier; two daughters, Stephanie Hatmaker of McDonald and Angee Parlier and Tony Jones of Soddy Daisy; two grandsons, Christopher Sherlin and Nick Hatmaker of McDonald; two sisters, Sherry and Mike Wilson and Debbie and Joe Mathis of Ooltewah; one brother, Steve and Brenda Parlier of Chattanooga; brother-in-law, Stanley Winkler of Chattanooga; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great nephews.
Friends and family are invited to attend visitation on January 23, 2010 from 4 to 6 p.m. followed by a Memorial Service officiated by Laverne Dusty Tibbs and Paul Banther at 6 p.m. at Grissoms Funeral Home.
Honorary Pallbearers are his friends from Jacksons Manufacturers Plant #5 and friends from Rocky Top.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Ronald McDonald House or any charity of your choice.
