Robert N. Stenroos

Robert N. Stenroos, 73, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Monday, January 29, 2007 in a local healthcare facility. He retired after 28 years as a mail carrier with the U. S. Postal Service. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army. He loved to ride his motorcycle. He was of the Catholic faith and was a member of the Knights of Columbus in Ohio. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Elizabeth Stenroos; and one stepdaughter, Gina May.

Survivors include his wife, Betty Stenroos of Cleveland; five stepchildren, Sherry Read of Dalton, GA, Diana Orr and Charles Gardner, both of Cleveland, Kenny May of Tennessee, and George Harris of Perry, FL; one brother, Frank Stenroos of California; fifteen step-grandchildren and six step-great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Saturday from 2-5 p.m. at Grissom Funeral Home, which has charge of the arrangements. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
