Judy Dare Stroud

Judy Dare Stroud, age 69, resident of Cleveland, TN, passed away Sunday, April 25, 2010, in a Chattanooga hospital. She was retired from Maytag. She was a loving wife and mother and devoted grandmother. She was preceded in death by her mother, Lura Atkins and three sisters, Barbara Young, Scottie Hamby and Helen Mack.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 50 years, Phillip Stroud of Cleveland, TN, 2 sons, Keith Stroud and Robert and his wife, Cheri all of Cleveland, one brother, Jimmy Atkins of Lenoir, North Carolina; 5 grandchildren, Candice Nunley, Dustin Stroud, Lindsay Stroud, Adam Stroud and David Stroud; 3 great grandchildren, Abby Nunley, D. J. Nunley and Haydon Stroud. Several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews also survive.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, April 28, 2010, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Grissom Funeral Home.

Interment will be held on Friday, April 30, 2010, at Oakwood Presbyterian Church in Lenoir, North Carolina.
