Elizabeth "Carol" Koger

Elizabeth “Carol” Koger, age 58, of Chattanooga, passed away in a local hospital, Monday, September 5, 2016.

Besides her family and being a “Nana”, Carol loved gardening and attending yard sales.  A favorite hobby of hers was to give “new life” to old furniture. 

Carol was preceded in death by her grandparents, Edith Carol and Carl Clifford McClain; mother, Sylvia Ann Daily; two brothers, Eddie Wayne Carr and Travis Edward Daily Jr.

She is survived by her husband Tommy “Gary” Pursley; children, Annette Buttram (Ed), Michelle Holt (Michael), Jamie Duffey (Simon), Shealy Shaheen and Michael Turner; grandchildren, DJ Strickland, Chealsea Shaheen and Marcus Shaheen; siblings, Deborah Herrera (Ruben), Tambra Bell, Kelly Krause, Edith “Jane” Parden (Ronnie), Clarence “Chucky" Krause; several nieces and nephews.

The family will hold a private memorial service at a later date.
