James E. Brady

He once worked as an engineer with Kroehler Manufacturing Company in Newport, TN and was retired locally from Cleveland Chair Company.

His favorite pastimes were tending his gardens and spending time with his granddaughters. 

He was preceded in death by his wife, Benna M. Brady and parents, Earl and Dellie Brady.

He is survived by his granddaughter and great granddaughters, Angel (Ken) Snyder, Jade Pierce and Bethany Pierce, all of Chattanooga; daughter, Judy (Tinsley) Davis and three grandchildren of Morristown, TN; siblings, Larry Brady of Morristown, Richard “Orville” Brady of Morristown, Joe Brady of Newport and Ruby Holt of Newport; stepson, Doug (Sherry) Seal of Sneedville; step grandchildren, LeAnne Anderson, Jamie Anderson and Logan Seal; step great grandchildren, Marlie, Morgan, Will Anderson and Maggie Anderson.

A funeral service will be held at 8 p.m. on Thursday, January 5, 2017 in the chapel of Grissom- Serenity Funeral Home with Pastor Lake Walker officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6-8 p.m., on Thursday, January 5, 2017.

Interment will take place at Sunset Memorial Gardens on Friday, January 6, 2017 at 10:00 a.m.
