Helen Hodge Leach, 94, resident of Cleveland, passed away Tuesday, May 30.
Helen was born on January 20, 1923, in Newcomb, Tenn. to the late Thomas W and Etta Robinson Hodge. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Helen was a member of the First United Methodist Church and retired from a career in banking.
Helen is survived by her grandson and granddaughter-in-law, Paul R. Leach III and Kathy Melton; great-granddaughter, Adelaine Lucille Leach; several beloved nieces and nephews, including Sally Griffiths, Mary Cunningham and Jack Rassega; daughter-in-law Charlotte J. Leach; step-grandchildren Valerie Christian and Richard Hope and numerous step-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul R. Leach, Sr., and her son, Paul R. Leach, Jr.
A memorial service, will be held on Monday at 1 p.m. at Serenity-Grissom Funeral Home, with Rev. Dr. Joel W. Huffstetler officiating.
Helen will be interred in a private graveside service at the Chattanooga National Cemetery.
The family will receive visitors at Serenity-Grissom Funeral Home between noon and 1 p.m. on Monday.
