Shirley Ann Smedley
October 23, 1942 — June 10, 2017
Shirley Ann Smedley went to be with the Lord on June 10, 2017, after a battle with lung cancer.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John T. and Ella (Womack) Walker; sons, Tony Freeman and James Freeman; grandson, Joshua Arp; great grandson, Kenneth Fritz.
She is survived by her husband of 32 years, John Smedley Sr.; daughters, Darla (Pat) Alexander, Marie (Sammy) Whitmire; step-son, John Smedley Jr. (Janet); nine grandchildren, four great grandchildren; one great, great grandchild.
A gathering of friends and family will be held on Friday, June 16, 2017 from 4:00pm to 8:00 pm at Union Missionary Baptist Church on Hughes Lake Road.
Serenity Funeral Home of Cleveland is honored to serve the Smedley family.
