Alvin Ray Dyer, 78, a resident of Sweetwater and formerly a resident of Cleveland, passed away Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at a Knoxville hospital.
He was born, December 21, 1939, to Ulrie Leon and Della Gamble Dyer, in Cleveland, TN. Alvin was a member of the East Side Church of Christ and was a mason in the residential and commercial construction industry for over 40 years.
Alvin was preceded in death by his parents, Ulrie and Della Dyer; siblings, Ulrie Leon Dyer, Jr, Dessie Leola Dyer, Gordon Wayne Dyer, and Charles Larry Dyer.
It was his wishes that no ceremony be held at this time.
